If this blog seems a little out of sorts it’s because I am listening to a rain forest soundtrack (Perry is learning about the rain forest and the curriculum calls for some Amazon sounds), Lydia is playing with play dough at my feet (mess control), I’m not writing about people, and I have hamburgers on the grill (I must check often).
Since I have had kids I’ve grown a little picky when it comes to food. Not just eating more fruits and vegetables and avoiding processed food but how my food is grown. When it comes to meat nothing beats the taste of animals that were raised naturally.. with love =).
We get our beef from our friend Jim. He loves his cows and they love him. They move field to field eating what grows naturally on the ground! As I was laying in this beautiful grass I saw honey bees, flowers, and bugs. It makes me happy to know these cows are living thier lives happily in an open field together.
Thank you for letting me hang out with your cows!
