I enjoy shooting from my hip… Not because it’s all surprises or because I’m lazy (that’s only half of it)… It’s also because I am shy when it comes to shooting strangers that are unaware… I am a private person and “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is what I like to practice when venturing out in private places with a camera.
Daniel and I woke up early (well.. early for us) and went to the Sale Barn held, at the Hillsdale fair grounds, every Saturday… We both share childhood memories here. As kids it was eye candy (50 cent plastic toys!) and the chance to get hot chocolate… As adults it’s just people selling heaps of junk.
Even though Daniel never gave me a Dollar, so I could buy something random, it was still fun.
The guy with the hat was a shoot from the shoulder.. no rules…
*Tip… When shooting from the hip… look for things that you would normally shoot then try to compose it… with the laterally projecting region of each side of the lower or posterior part of your mammalian trunk.
